MSA Nitrometer Additions
The Defender + faceshield is made from lightweight polypropylene and accommodates all MSA visors. Its easy-in and easy-out visor channel allows for quick-and-easy visor replacement. With no mechanical pins used to hold the visor in place, there are no pins to inadvertently break off. The frame latches to bill of cap for tight seal (latching tab models) and ear muff accessory simply snaps into frame pivot joint with no bolts and nuts to fasten. The Foldback style frames are available in plastic (dielectric) and metal; both can be used with slotted or non-slotted helmets. Use the Defender + faceshield assemblies in work environments where hard hats are not required, fully adjustable from sizes 6 1/2 up to 8. Visors should always be worn with ANSI compliant primary eye protection, such as high impact-resistant safety glasses or goggles. All meet ANSI Z87.1-2003 |
