De-fend™ Emergency Decontamination Pool

Decon Pool Only - Shower not included

The Defend Emergency Decontamination Pool is designed to provide decontamination facilities in accordance with OSHA standard 1910.120 without distracting emergency responders from their primary task. The light-weight, compact retention pool requires no assembly and is fully operational in less than two minutes. The retention pool is 48” x 48” with a depth of 14 1/2”. PVC Pool ((32-001182-0000) has 120 gallon capacity. Weight: 17 lbs.

Features include:

* Light-weight retention pool requires no assembly.
* Pool can be stored in convenient carrying bags on virtually
   any response vehicle. Requires less than 5 cu ft of storage space.
* Pool can be made fully operational in less than two minutes by
   one person.
* No tools are required for set-up.
* The pool has over a 120 gallon capacity to provide
   collection for up to 30 minutes of shower use.
* The optional drench hose can be used to assist the
   emergency responder or victim with decontamination
   or drenching.
* Using the optional transfer pump, fluids collected in
   the retention pool can be transferred to drums or tanks
   for proper disposal according to local, state and
   federal regulations.
