  Description
MSA 10067565 ThermalTrac/Evolution 5000-Series Vehicle-Mounted Charger

Keep your TICs secure, instantly accessible…and always charged!

With the MSA Evolution 5000 Series Universal Charger mounted in your truck or patrol car, you can be assured that your Evolution or ThermalTrac Thermal Imaging Camera is always ready to use when you need it, and your spare battery is charged and ready to install when the first battery runs down. Because the nominal 2-hour charge time is the same as the battery’s operating life, you can depend on having full use of your camera almost continuously.

This versatile “smart charger”, will charge any MSA Evolution 5000-Series or ThermalTrac TIC, WITH or WITHOUT an optional Video Capture System or Wireless Transmitter unit attached. The system is designed to charge the battery installed in the camera first, then switches over to the spare battery charging module.

It is designed to be mounted permanently in any vehicle and hard wired directly to the vehicle’s electrical system. The Thermal Imaging Camera simply snaps into the charger and is held securely with rubber mounting straps. The Li-ion batteries are charged while vehicle is running. Multi-colored LED indicator lights keep you informed of the charge status of each battery and the charger system, itself.
Installing a charging unit in each patrol car or emergency vehicle can give your department more utility from each camera, because you can easily move cameras from one vehicle to another without disrupting the charge cycle.
